Overview Social Events
We intend to host you in Hamburg’s most beautiful locations. With EMAC’s tradition of great people, great content, great food and drinks in great places we are motivated to make your stay an unforgettable experience. As with previous conferences, some sites have natural capacity limitations – so please be aware that we allocate slots on a ‘first come first served’ basis.
You will notice that these awesome locations and the great food & drinks we serve come at a little additional price tag. Let us briefly explain why we need and choose to pursue this path instead of sacrificing parts of your conference experience. First, your conference fee includes EMAC membership 2020 (125€) and the conference fee has been held steady for 8 years, which reflects a budget cut of 25% in real terms as hosting costs in metropolitan areas went up. Second, as we know as marketers, a small fee enables choices (who takes part), proper planning of the events as uncertainty reduces, and cuts waste to improve our sustainability footprint (we used to throw about 30,000€ in food away each dinner due to no-shows), and increasing fairness as it avoids people paying for events they do not attend. Third, those who choose to participate are ensured to indulge in an unforgettable experience without past sacrifices on food, drinks, or locations. Any price tag below covers about 50% or less of the cost per participant with the remainder carried by sponsoring income.
(Max capacity: 200 participants)
